113. FINDINGS OF OTHER INHABITED PLANETS MADE BY UMMO.
In our journeys we have not even reached the limits of our Galaxy. Our space-travel techniques must be adapted according to certain curvatures of SPACE.
We cannot therefore travel wherever and whenever we wish.
Throughout our HISTORY the contacts established have been: (The dates correspond to Our Last EPOCH) UMMO years.
Year 27 / 32465.5616 
The first coded messages are picked up from the OOYAUMME SYSTEM (a star we have not identified in the Astronomical Tables of EARTH).
Year 29 / 36008.53 Recording of indecipherable messages coming from the UUYABOO WEAM group, Nebula NEAAA.
Year 64 / 87.3 Arrival of two craft similar to our OAWOLEA UEWA. They disappear without trace. Previously, without official record, the URAA (UNOFFICIAL CHRONICLES) recorded up to approximately 4230 contacts of this kind.
BETWEEN YEARS 84 and 509: 42 messages received and decoded, 103 indecipherable messages.
Of these 145 codigrams, all received by radio (322-329 Megacycles/sec. -DEUTERIUM BAND- and Frequencies between 407.658 and 8306.63 Mc/s.), coming from 27 located planetary systems or clusters. Two (decoded) extragalactic messages. One coming from the Galaxy OREEAU (called ANDROMEDA by you); there is no certainty as to the origin of the second contact.
The first real contact by means of our OAWOOLEA OEMM (SPACESHIPS) we established with the Planet IEYIOBAA (the phonic name of its inhabitants sounds approximately like this: FRRRANSSSS). This group is situated around the Star OOYAUNMEEEI (In the terrestrial tables it appears under the name 70 Ophiuchi).
The second (year 501 / 978.56 
with the PLANET OOYAWIIA and its inhabitants, who killed its six crew members). The Planets visited, lifeless or with primary biological forms, amount to 218.
All our attempts at telepathic communication with other humans, including you, have been fruitless. The very great distances, moreover (BY LIGHT PATH), which condition electromagnetic (radio) communications, make our attempts to answer the messages received and successfully interpreted almost fruitless, for some took 38607.46 years to be received (Within our own Galaxy). This is the extraordinary case of the Planet OOYAEBEEM, situated in the UYIABEE System. The favourable ISODYNAMIC conditions of space in the year 487 / 84465.2 made it possible to visit it, the ship taking 40078427.56 thousandths of , whereas light takes some 9165 years to get there.
Our technicians could only detect the traces of an immense destruction dating from some 6000 (terrestrial) years earlier.
Well then: we have since recorded two coded messages coming from that same Planet, which were emitted when its Humanity had not yet destroyed itself with its terrible Plasma weapons.
300. OUR REMUNERATION SYSTEM.
In the evolution of our History we passed almost without transition from the system of barter in kind to the economic valuation of labour and of industrial and consumer goods according to a rather complex mathematical system. To understand this system one would have to know the structure of our SOCIETY more deeply.
We shall try to summarise the features most closely related to the Economy of UMMO.
We have a system of coding goods, very complex and carefully standardized, so that each one is assigned a series of figures that represents it. They are classified in the following GROUPS. All of them can be valued economically.
OUMBOOBUUA (Goods-MENTAL SERVICES. Such as mathematical calculation work, inspection of the purity of phonic communication, Child Psychotechnical Control and many others. (Forms of RECREATION are included).
OUMBOOMIIA (Goods in the form of Services requiring physiological motor activity of hands, feet, thorax... -such as operating machine tools, repairing research instruments, surgery...).
OUMYASAAII (Goods of Natural Volume or surface, such as Areas of land, Volumes of subsoil, Spatial volumes -inside or outside atmospheric space-).
OUMDAA DOAA (Consumer Goods: Food, clothing, AARBII OMAIU (a kind of Titanium tablet on which sounds can be recorded; they are equivalent to the Records and Magnetic Tapes of Earth), decorative objects, furniture..., as well as ENERGY).
OUMWI AA (Capital Goods such as industrial apparatus, vehicles, buildings, etc. (All kinds of working instruments are included).
Note that the first are engendered by man in energetic form and the last three are DIMENSIONAL.
In principle, we men of our UMMO do not possess any of these last DIMENSIONAL GOODS as PRIVATE PROPERTY.
You may interpret this as a veiled form of TERRESTRIAL MARXIST ECONOMY, but the differences between the communist structure and ours are quite evident, as we shall see:
In the first place, there are no longer any problems of production on UMMO. On the one hand the perfectly regulated self-control of the Birth rate, without departing from the religious norms of the UAA (MORAL code), and on the other the massive synthetic production of CARBOHYDRATES, PROTEINS, LIPIDS and all kinds of foods and other OUMDAA DOAA and OUMWI AA goods, is so enormous and so perfectly planned that the terrible problems of unjust distribution of GOODS that beset the HUMANITY of EARTH no longer arise, just as there can be no problems among you regarding air and its distribution.
When the existence of GOODS exceeds the probable DEMAND, they undergo such a depreciation that, beyond a certain quantitative Threshold, their presumed remunerative value loses its meaning.
But there are still many goods that are esteemed and can be valued, since their number or magnitude does not exceed that of the DEMAND function. (Certain amusements, rare objects, land, etc.)
When the child has reached a certain age, his Psychophysiological faculties are assessed. Control of his education is considered to belong to the UMMOAELEWE (COUNCIL OF UMMO). It is at 13.7 (TERRESTRIAL) years that they are integrated into the UNAWO UUI (Great Teaching Centre), where the regime is severe and the young person becomes accustomed to owning nothing of his own.
Once his training, which is adapted to the faculties of our OEMII (Human body), is concluded, he is assigned a coded figure that constitutes our IDENTIFICATION CARD (we call it UMMOGAIAOO DAA).
At that same moment our identity is integrated into the gigantic XANWAABUUASII BEEO AO of UMMO, located in GOABAAAE.
It is a gigantic MEMORY-centre, connected with the whole XANMOO AYUBAA Network (A kind of computers or brains on a DIEWEE basis). The technology of these great machines, which bear a distant resemblance to your electronic brains, is too complex to be described here.
In the first place, the MEMORY units (XANWAABUUASII) do not consist, like those of Earth, of magnetic Tapes, magnetic Discs, Ferrite toroids or drums. They are simply small cubes of chemically pure crystallized TITANIUM. Each of its ATOMS can be excited to reach TWELVE quantum states, so that it can store a NUMBER (Note that the memories of the computers of EARTH work with BITS -in the binary system-).
You can imagine that in a tiny volume of TITANIUM trillions of figures can be stored to be used again. A beam of waves of infinitesimal cross-section and high frequency coincides with two others (Forming a trihedron), passing through the TITANIUM crystal at the atom to be excited or decoded.
The (Coded) information stored can be processed in calculating machines (Much more complex than your simple machines).
Well then. Throughout UMMO there are 120 giant XANMOO AYUBAA linked to the great MEMORY mentioned. These enormous machines regulate all the activity of UMMO. Do not think that they replace the creative mind of man; they are, however, an indispensable aid in our civilization.
My wife can, from our home, get in touch with the XANMOO AYUBAA and supply it with the data on temperature, pressure, acidity of sweat, type of cardiological wave, etc. of our sick little daughter, in order to receive the diagnosis and therapeutic instructions. In the same way we could have submitted to it a complicated problem of pure Mathematics or analytical Psychobiology.
We were saying that our UMMOGA IAO DAA is integrated into this MEMORY. From then on, each of the data corresponding to our performance in the professional post assigned is also taken to this Memory, duly weighted. At this very moment I am dictating this document to a man of Earth. This work is being recorded in Australia. It is being valued and coded, just as you value a Kilogram of coffee by translating it into pesetas or francs. These data on our work on Earth are also recorded in a tiny computer likewise provided with a TITANIUM memory. This little tablet, which contains not only these data but tens of thousands of coded documents concerning the civilization of this Planet, will be taken to UMMO. Well then, the numerical data recording my work will be merged with all the data concerning my person that exist in the XANWAABUASII BEEO AAO.
If one day I return to UMMO and wish, for example, to acquire an old rarity (for example a ballistic chronometer) (In USUFRUCT, it is understood), the “seller” will consult the XANWAABUASII, which will tell him whether or not I am entitled to it. And this answer is conditioned by multiple factors:
My Psychophysiological Capacity and Hierarchical grade.
My performance at work throughout my life.
The whole Economy of UMMO at that moment.
As you see, we do not need MONEY; and although it has never been known to us, I do not believe we have lost anything, since our centralized remuneration system, subjected to rigorous analysis from the coordinating Centre of UMMO, is, as you will understand, much more just and rational.
A more detailed analysis of this system would conclude that at bottom it is similar to the Terrestrial one. Money materialized in documents (BANKNOTES) and backed by a standard (Be it GOLD or the ECONOMIC CAPACITY of the Country) has been replaced on UMMO by symbolic values which are in turn backed by the Economy of UMMO. Only there is no need for monetary circulation, and a system is used that slightly recalls the BANK TRANSFERS of EARTH. But on the other hand the system of remuneration of labour is, from the scientific-economic and moral point of view, much more rational.
The abolition of private Property has not created great problems, and on the other hand the man of UMMO is free to choose the work he wishes, although if such a choice is arbitrary he will find himself maladjusted and worse paid. In spite of this absence of PROPERTY, the incentive and stimulus to work are more intense than on your Planet.
If I perform well with respect to my professional status, I shall enjoy advantages in GOODS HELD IN USUFRUCT and SERVICES RENDERED that will not be accessible to the lazy individual. In short, you may interpret our civilization as a kind of Socialist structure (more perfected than the faltering and mistaken socialist systems of Earth) and deeply religious, but with argumentative foundations for that Religion that are clearly scientific and devoid of all fanatical bias. We believe our spiritual values are more balanced than yours. Only the arts, and especially music, are terribly poor compared with those of Earth.
