OUR DAILY LIFE ON UMMO. OUR RECREATIONS.
Apart from the UIW that the OMGEEYIE (MARRIED COUPLE) devotes to official work, that is, to its tribute to Society, and from the tasks concerning the XAABII (DWELLING) or the Education and training of themselves and of the UUGEEYIE (CHILDREN), sleep and social commitments with the brothers they know, the rest of the Time is devoted almost exclusively to OXUO KEAIA (PLAY). In reality the true meaning of the word OXUO KEAIA ought to be, for lack of an equivalent word in the Spanish language: “ART OF EXERCISING THE OEMII (Physiological Structure) AND THE MENTAL FACULTIES SIMULTANEOUSLY. The translation “PLAY”, “RECREATION” or “SPORT” is therefore inappropriate from the semantic point of view when we refer to OXUO KEAIA.
We want you to realize the extraordinary importance we attach to these modes of behaviour on the Planet UMMO.
We have acquired a profound knowledge of pathological Aetiology. Thanks to this we have developed preventive techniques that have made it possible to master pathogenic agents by means of suitable prophylaxis. But there exists, as you know very well to the misfortune of the men of Earth, an immense range of psychogenic factors, called by earthlings PSYCHOPATHOGENIC DETERMINANTS, which are the origin of many mental illnesses.
You are “utterly” mistaken if you believe that we have managed to overcome mental deformations completely. It has been much easier for us, for hundreds of XEE (YEARS of UMMO), to master oncological techniques to prevent the genetic anarchy of the nucleic acids that cause the tumours you call cancerous, than to cancel out certain forms of EDDIO IAAIYAA (NEUROSIS) that take on aspects similar to what you call states of anxiety, Hysteria, hypochondriacal reactions, etc.
However, we know perfectly the correlation linking these disorders with the spiritual and social balance of a Society whose Network is perfectly Planned. This correlation is inverse (Speaking in earthly statistical terms, we shall say that the correlation coefficient is NEGATIVE). Expressed in commonplace terms, we would suggest that in a perfectly planned Society (an IDEAL which we have not even come near on UMMO, although we approach it asymptotically) such disturbances of the mind would not exist.
Well then: If we have managed to make that percentage of mentally ill people much lower than the one you have on Earth, it is due mainly to two factors.
SPIRITUAL AND RELIGIOUS BALANCE WITH UNCONDITIONAL SUBMISSION TO THE MORAL NORMS.
PROPHYLAXIS BY MEANS OF PLAY TECHNIQUES.
In principle you are not unaware of the importance that PLAY THERAPY can have in earthly institutions for the treatment of mental illnesses.
However, there is a notable difference between you and us: analyse it carefully:
You plan PLAY as a Play-therapy Technique. That is, for the cure of psychopathological disorders.
We use OXUO KEAIA as PROPHYLAXIS, that is: To prevent the possibility of those disorders and of other mental illnesses unknown to you.
Apart from these two fundamental discrepancies there are other secondary ones, well known to you:
It is true that Games and Sport are practised profusely on Earth. But in a disorderly and even absurd way. Sometimes you direct such practices towards physiological development without bearing in mind that the OEMII (MAN) is a PHYSIOLOGICAL-MENTAL UNIT and that serious disorders may occur when mental and somatic development are not balanced simultaneously. In other cases aberrations arise, such as abandoning the masses to sporting inactivity, turning sport into a spectacle to divert minds towards other goals alien to the genuine Social and political objectives. A veritable drug which, although it manages to foster an apparent Social Peace, perpetuates unjust Social structures. Governments that operate in this way are veritable criminals masked by legality. There is no greater genocide than the crime of keeping the Social Network in the stupefaction that allows a minority of leaders to remain in power.
You, then; practise Games and Sport at all levels of age and mentality, but you act like an OEMII (MAN) who swallowed Vitamins, antibiotics and other drugs haphazardly for no apparent reason; in strangely fluctuating doses, and at unusual hours.
For us, therefore, OXUO KEAIA is something more than a simple amusement, an escape or an offhand way of strengthening our muscles. It is something more than a mental gymnastics like earthly chess. Its genuine objectives are of great consequence, even from the genetic point of view. Its repercussions embrace the whole Social Network of UMMO.

It may horrify you that our Network of Computers XANMOO AYUBAA should intervene even in the direction of our recreation. We wish first to make some observations to you on this subject.
Throughout the reports dictated by me in submission to the orders of my superior in the Iberian Peninsula DEII 98 son of DEII 97, you have been able to confirm that the XANMOO AYUBAA takes a very active part in our social organization.
This knowledge may lead you to form a very mistaken idea of our Social Network and of our psychic personality. The temptation to identify us with mere little cogs in a gigantic and monstrous social machinery will undoubtedly have crossed your minds. According to that false image or perception of earthly men, the men of UMMO would be veritable mechanized monstrosities, without inner life, slaves to watchwords issued with mathematical precision by an aseptic government that uses the XANMOO AYUBAA, or complex of mechanical brains, to coordinate with exasperating precision the slightest movements and behaviours of the members of that Society, which would be like an Earthly Clock.
The men of our Planet would be veritable “robots” (to put it in earthly words), capable, it is true, of being affected by sensations, vulnerable to feelings, to pleasure or displeasure, but lacking a true soul, slaves of technology and inflexible followers of a rigorous logic.
This fallacy has its origin in a lack of Information on the one hand, and on the other in the tendency every human being shows not to understand behaviours that depart from his narrow mental frameworks. For an unintelligent Spaniard it is difficult to understand the ways of life of an inhabitant of the New Hebrides. For a person enslaved to the socio-political framework of a dictatorship that has uprooted in him the most elementary vestiges of human Freedom and Dignity, the life of an inhabitant immersed in a democratic Socialist Society such as that of Sweden may seem, paradoxical as it may appear, mistaken and absurd.
The egocentrism of earthly Men, crystallized in the Biblical verse of the Mote in another's Eye and the Beam in one's own, induces in you a distorted perspective when you try to judge our ways of life.
If you compare the mental slavery that your surrender to thousands of pathogenic habits means for you, such as Tobacco, spices, the irrational ways of organizing your daily life, mental surrender to agents that deform the Personality such as certain spectacles, television serials, the inducing forms of commercial advertising, the politically motivated distortions of Press news that polarize social groups towards aberrant political forms, the pedagogical extortions exercised by almost all parents over their children, submission to and fear of the multiple social TABOOS. The rooting of countless prejudices that prevents you men of the Planet Earth from maintaining a healthy flexibility of thought, chaining you instead to a sclerotic and rigid mental framework... Where is that freedom and exuberance of soul in earthlings? Behaviours that you judge to be governed entirely by freedom are in reality subject to subconscious motivations of aberrant origin, induced in turn by a mistaken education or by fear of the Society around you. And in this the very Psychiatrists of your Planet will agree with us.
We -we humbly acknowledge it- have not attained perfection, but we believe that our spiritual independence is greater than yours.
For example, there are many earthlings whose moral conduct is still conditioned by the fear produced in them by the coercive mechanisms of the laws. Respect for one's neighbour takes shape thanks to the punitive methods of the State Executive. It is a conduct imposed from OUTSIDE.
In us there has developed a genuine gregarious mentality, a love for our brothers, an ardent desire to perfect Society, because we are aware of the madness “of springing a leak in a ship in which we are travelling” under the disturbed effects of an absurd selfishness. We do not understand how you can reproach us for loving society more than ourselves, when any earthling travelling in an aeroplane thinks more anxiously about its engine and its structure than about the menu offered him by the stewardess.
Forgive us for having used commonplace earthly similes such as that of the ship and the Jet, but we believe we illustrate this thought better for you.
It is also strange that you should look with suspicion on our Computer Network, when no Earthling can do without his fountain pen, his Refrigerator and his Passenger Car, with the aggravating circumstance that, once habits polarized towards their use have been created, he is horrified when one night, under the effects of the energy Restriction of an Electricity Network, he has to replace the Light of his incandescent filament lamps with cylinders of stearates provided with a wick.
At least we, identifying ourselves with Nature, simultaneously accustom ourselves to bearing the lack of All the Devices of our Civilization.
So discard the idea that we are slaves (like you) of Technology. For us all these devices we use on UMMO are simply AUXILIARY MEANS that help us in our intellectual and moral progress. They allow us to form an ever more accurate idea of the WAAM (UNIVERSE), and just as a sensitive and intelligent person on Earth, as he immerses himself in study and meditation, sees wider perspectives of the Truth open before him, and feels an ineffable joy when he discovers new facets of his World, we too feel freer with an ever deeper knowledge of the laws governing n-dimensional Space, when we glimpse the grandeur hidden behind the factors of Man, when we discover new inhabited worlds.
This makes us feel humbler; it frees us from coercive laws that would oblige us from outside to achieve a better Society; it is we ourselves who oblige ourselves to love the Social Network. And although we have acquired conditioned reflexes that govern our particular conduct, at least such habits are rational and logical. They do not make us suffer as they do earthlings, nor do they prevent us from reacting with ample freedom and a rich inner life in many facets of our daily conduct.
If you saw us living alternate days in full communion with Nature, among the great rocks and steep torrents, rejecting all the stereotyped gestures we use when we live together in society, perhaps you would not judge that we are slaves of a mechanized Civilization. Analyse instead the immense range of postures and movements you have assimilated and turned into rigid irrational reflexes that govern your conduct. You will see how even out in the countryside you tend unconsciously to perform them.
That was precisely the characteristic that most saddened us on arriving on this Planet. You seemed to us like puppets moving with studied, convulsive, artificial gestures, and we have suffered intensely in having to adapt ourselves to those inharmonious modes of behaviour in order to pass unnoticed among you.
OUR DAILY LIFE ON UMMO. RECREATIONS.
You may believe that on our Planet there is an indefinite range of Games and sports characteristic of the various regions and ages.
In reality it is difficult to explain to you that the sporting-recreational variety obeys carefully analysed functional factors. There is indeed an extensive series of forms of OXUO KEAIA (SPORT), but these are subordinated to the mentality, chronological age and physiological constitution of the person practising it.
Hence describing to you all the games or sports, as they are called on Earth, is as impossible for us to condense into a few pages as it would be for you to send us a descriptive list of the machine tools used in the metallurgical sector of this Planet.
For earthlings, children's Play is a type of natural activity that precedes the organized work carried out by the adult. Hardly any importance is attached to it. Although there are child-psychology advisers, specialized bodies and even manufacturers who attach marked importance to the most suitable toys for earthly children, even producing objects scientifically designed for the various mental ages of children, any of you knows that the great majority of parents ignore this advice and, whether at the festivities of Father Christmas or Santa Claus or the Three Kings or Havargaa, they buy the Games that the first shopkeeper or manufacturer puts on sale (more eager to impress with his manufacturing technique than really concerned about the importance of the child's development).
Toys which, naturally, seldom satisfy the child's mind, when they do not provoke traumatic reactions in its psyche.
You never tire of repeating that Humanity is lost, sick, alienated, and the most ingenuous among you look for suitable solutions for the Earthly Social Network. The subject is complex and we were dealing with it in other studies sent to you. But know that there is a fundamental principle in BIEUIGUU (PSYCHOBIOLOGY) according to which A MAN WHOSE MIND HAS BEEN WRENCHED IN HIS YOUTH OR IN HIS CHILDHOOD WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BALANCE HIS PSYCHE IN ADULTHOOD.
This principle holds for the whole Social Network. The spiritual balance of a man, and you know this very well although you resist applying the appropriate therapy, is achieved only through the integral formation of childhood. An error in pedagogical orientation will be fatal for the individual.
We take exquisite care in monitoring the first reactions of the UUGEE or the UYIE. Their games are studied with extreme attention. The devices supplied to them during the first years of life are perfectly designed for them.
In this field we may perhaps suggest to you some practical ideas that can be carried out by the Parents of Earth. And draw your attention to serious errors committed in the Education of children. Of course we suspect, with well-founded reasons, that you will perhaps listen to them attentively, only not to put them into practice afterwards. If, despite the enormous range of advice offered by earthly child-care specialists, mothers still resist putting it into practice, still less can we, some strangers whom all of you may identify as practical jokers or madmen, aspire to be heeded in the name of a Civilization that Earthlings will consider fictitious.
Mothers on UMMO watch attentively over the initial development of the little UGEEYIE (Boy or girl). The environment in which the little one develops during the first earth months of age is totally different from the real environment.
One of the IXAABII (ROOMS) of the XAABIUANAA (HOME) is fitted out for this. The child is habitually kept in a specially conditioned environment. No complex objects appear before its eyes, but shapeless patches of bright colour and greys that fluctuate slowly and fade away rhythmically, all placed at the same distance and in the same Plane. Do not forget that the infant is not capable of discerning, in its first stage, in its embryonic perceptions; complex visual images and stereo-spatial relations; that is, relief in space. What an adult integrates mentally as a human body, with its shape, its stereoscopic depth, its precise and defined colours, the nursing UUYIE and UGEE (GIRL AND BOY) dissociate in a way you cannot imagine. Patches of colour are perceived independently of shape. It does not even discriminate between colours. A magenta patch is perceived identically to an orange one. It distinguishes only between three defined groups of colours. Some of the brightest: Green, Orange, carmine, purple are confused with one another. Black, dark brown, grey etc. make up another group, perceived indiscriminately. White, the shades called “cream” by earthlings and all those colours whose spectral curve is almost flat appear simply as Whites. And we suspect this also happens in earthly children.
When you look at two persons standing at different distances, you are exactly aware, thanks to binocular vision, that they stand in a well-defined relation of distances. In the UGEEYIE this is not so. Both persons are in the same Plane. Just as, when a person moves away, the adult perceives a reduction in his size, to the infant the human figure seems sometimes to grow gigantic and at other times to shrink as if it were elastic (do not forget that it always sees it at the same distance). This conditions in earthly children those fantasies of giants and dwarfs later carried into their games and their dreams. We avoid those deforming perceptions for a certain early age, stimulating (by means of those artificial patches we have told you about) perceptive awareness, or the faculty of chromatic-spatial perception.
The child on UMMO can see its mother, but always at the same distance and for as long as the sucking of milk lasts. When she moves away the room is left in deep semi-darkness while the infant's attention is directed again towards another point. In the IXAABII a small UULODAXAABI has been set up, an enclosure in the form of a hemispherical dome, inside which the child lies. The images its senses take in are conditioned by its age and by the UMMOGAIAO DA (Psychotechnical identification formula of the subject). Visual images that become more and more complex, sounds perfectly synchronized with olfactory stimuli that acquire greater complexity with time.
Discipline in maternal care is very strict. The frequent washings are carried out at periods fixed in advance for each infant, even though during the first Xii (DAYS) a device placed between its little legs controls the baby's natural evacuations, neutralizing them in gaseous form after they occur.
The Uugee or uuyie (BOY GIRL) passes gradually from that artificial world to the real one (much more complex) in a gradual and imperceptible way, when its neurocortical structure is already conditioned by habits contracted within a framework perfectly regulated to its congenital mentality.
The parents of Ummo are trained by their advisers in the most suitable course to follow in the face of any emergency. We shall give you an example.
The UGEE's interest is at first focused on its hands. Little by little this orientation extends to other topological areas of the body. The cerebral network thus gradually becomes familiar with its body, its volume, the prehensile (GRASPING) faculties of the fingers, etc. At two earth months the normal UGEEYIE of UMMO tries to coordinate its movements to reach a small, very shiny carmine sphere that has been placed slightly out of its reach. The hands are crossed over the thorax; the elbows cannot be straightened. Despite this inner frustration, despite this continual failure, it does not respond to the exercise by crying, since it finds pleasant the educational exercise of a function that is maturing, which involves the slow interconnection of the various synapses in the embryonic nerve centres. Well then: In this physiological self-exploration it is not unusual for the infant to discover its genitals and touch them.
Any earthly mother or father tends to become alarmed, identifying such an act as a masturbatory practice. The foolish reaction of thoughtless and untrained parents is usually to smack the infant's hand, or to repeat to it over and over, each time it makes such contact, NO NO!! YOU MUSTN'T DO THAT!! The immediate reaction of the earthly child will be to believe that its mother is trying to play with it, since with each contact it associates the same reaction from her, and as it does not understand the punitive meaning of the smack or of the words, the very habit that was meant to be avoided is created.
Parents on UMMO are aware that at so early an age such a practice cannot be considered genuinely masturbatory. When the infant tends to touch its genitals, its attention is drawn to another object (AND NOT EVERY TIME IT DOES SO), for otherwise the child would associate the act with being called towards that object, and this too could become a reflex. We advise earthly mothers, lacking the technical means we have there, not to try in a similar case to dissuade their little one by coercive methods. Give it a shiny object (NOT ENAMELLED WITH COLOURS MADE BY MEANS OF NON-TOXIC ENAMELS) (1). They may be of aluminium anodized green or red, and also of plastic, to keep it amused.

THE OXUO GAADII FACILITIES.
We pointed out to you in the preceding reports how our Games are directed towards the integral development of the OEMII. No doubt this expression explicitly clarifies the sense and meaning we must give to the concept of integral Development. But we prefer to specify and qualify that idea.
Our specialists in BIEWIGUU regard the human being as a Network whose relations of flow between its basic elements can be expressed by means of mathematical parameters. (To understand this, imagine one of the types of simple Network familiar to the technicians of Earth. An electrical Network in an electronic circuit. Its basic elements will be, for example: Frequency generators, pure Voltage and Current Generators (These last have not yet been achieved by the Physicists of Earth), pure Reactances and resistances. All these elements can be combined in a complex mesh of conductors through which different current intensities normally flow, at combined frequencies of several harmonics. Well then: It is enough to replace one inductance in that network (A coil with or without an iron core) for THE WHOLE NETWORK to be altered automatically. You will understand this better if you carry out the experiment of replacing one of the valves or vacuum Tubes (Elements of the Network) in your Television receiver with any other. Most probably the screen of the Cathode-ray Tube will be left without a picture.
Let us take this simile a step further: Suppose that this electronic circuit has aged. The potentiometers of the controls have accumulated grease mixed with dust, the tuning capacitors of the tank circuits have become coated with verdigris, the electrolyte paste in the filter capacitors has dried out, and there are leaks between the connections of the sockets for the valves and transistors. Undoubtedly cleaning and replacing a single element will not be enough. On the contrary, it is necessary to coordinate the renovation of each and every one of the basic components of the Network, since you have already realized that the deficiency of a single basic device affects the interrelated whole.
The simile, as you see, is very crude, since the Network of the OEMII is of such fabulous complexity that the above example is as primitive as if an expert in Earthmoving were to compare a simple hand shovel wielded by a labourer with a backhoe equipped with electronic servomechanisms. The human network develops in its environment by integrating itself into another, much more complex Network (The Social Network), in such a way that the stiffening, deformation or pathological alteration of one of its elements causes serious disorders in the overall personality of the individual.
Any of you, and with you your ancestors of the Planet Earth, knows this perfectly well. A simple migraine, a sprain, an ordinary vulvar inflammation can cause in the person suffering them serious affective alterations; bad temper, frustration, low work performance etc. Earthly psychosomatic medicine has always dealt with these phenomena, recognizing the importance such somatic alterations have for the mental functions of the individual.
However, you are like the owner of the television set who, without the minimum knowledge of electronics required, on becoming aware of the fault suffered by the network, tries to “poke about” in the complex network of the circuit with a screwdriver to try to locate the cause. Most probably he will misadjust the ferrite cores screwed in with great precision, or cause a short circuit in some stage of the receiver.
When, quite logically, what you do is misadjust the set even more, it would then be naive to complain; lamenting how “badly made Television sets are”.
We imagine that you will immediately think, on understanding this parable.
“Well: You Men of UMMO, who enjoy so advanced a civilization, who are capable of making the appropriate adjustments in the psychosomatic network of the OEMII (HUMAN BODY) until almost perfect biopsychic balance is achieved, and even a technique of foetal prophylaxis that will protect the individual throughout his life from many pathogenic factors, why do you not give us the prescription? Why do you not offer us in your reports a synthesis of such remedies: An anti-oncological formula that will protect us from cancerous tumours, an effective drug against mental syndromes etc. etc.?
This hopeful question is so charged with anguished resonances that neither do you yourselves appreciate the naivety of its formulation, nor can we, out of deep respect for the pain of human beings, call it stupid.
Imagine a poor sorcerer of an Amazonian tribe. What would a Neurophysiologist reply on being approached by him and begged to teach him in a few days to operate surgically on a tumour of the cerebral cortex...? The most the surgeon could do at first for that good man would be to teach him patiently to read and to show him some simple popular anatomical plates (And even then the native would most probably become bored again and again).
Forgive us this digression, necessary to the development of the subject, and let us continue.
An evolution in our integral knowledge of man has thus shown us the TRANSCENDENTAL IMPORTANCE that any factor related to the body has for the whole structure of the personality.
In this way we have discovered that man's recreation not only produces invigorating reactions in the mental functions and even in the harmonious development of the physio-anatomical organs, but that such recreation, if it is to be truly functional, must be planned specially for each individual, and with sequential rules which, applied to another individual, may prove not only sterile but harmful.
That is why in the previous report we stressed the discriminating character of our OXUO KEAIA (ART OF PLAY) compared with earthly games and sports. Our criticism was naturally not directed against the goodwill that the men of Earth put into the regulation of their games. Undoubtedly many of those sports and recreational activities achieve to a certain degree the development of a single faculty, function or somatic organ.
But you yourselves, if you think a little, will realize that if each man is a complex individuality, with his own mentality and typical traits, so that even foods are chosen in a varied and discriminating way by the same person, and the selection of reading is defined for each subject, it will be as absurd to standardize the rules of play, normalizing them in “standard” form, as if in a hospital that houses in its beds a complex variety of patients, a deranged medical Director were to decree that all patients be treated at the same time with a specific dose of insulin, timing the injection interval with morbid precision and punishing the inmates' transgressions!
The example, although crude, is illustrative. You understand perfectly the invigorating function of Play. And you devote yourselves to capriciously creating an anarchic range of exotic rules of Play. Undoubtedly the dynamism of some sporting sequences develops certain organs of the Human Network (Legs and arms in basketball, volitional Functions and metabolic and neuromuscular control in yoga, certain cortical areas in chess, proprioceptive balance and neuro-ocular development in target shooting... And of course, in all of them, the sense of discipline and the ideological values of “chivalry” and “honour”. Concepts which for the men of UMMO are too artificial, and which are replaced in our Social Network by more transcendent and rational values.
When in the following paragraphs we describe to you, though not too lengthily, the characteristics of our OXUO, you will confirm two essential points of discrepancy with earthly sport: There are not several forms of OXUO in the whole of UMMO, but a single one for our entire OYAA (PLANET). However: the complexity of the rules within one and the same session is such that not only are they different for each player, but they are even a function of time, that is, they vary with each situation; just as for each soldier at each instant of an earthly battle the decisions to be taken vary with the situation.
